Slavimir Stojanovic, graphic designer born in 1969, in Belgrade,
Yugoslavia. After finishing Design Highschool he studied Graphic Communications at the Academy Of Applied Arts and Design in Belgrade and at the HDK at prof. H C Ericson's class in Götheborg, Sweden.
He started working as an Art Director for Saatchi & Saatci Bates in Belgrade in 1992, soon becoming Head Of Art for the whole Balkan
region. He worked on numerous cultural projects, including Art Direction and Design of awarded magazine for Art and Advertising -
New Moment. He also worked on commercial projects for international
clients, such as Sony, Mercedes-Benz, Michelin, Coca-Cola, BAT, Alied Domecque,... In 1998 Saatchi & Saatchi Bates Balkans was awarded the
prestigious Golden Drum Award for the Agency Of The Year in New Europe. After successful seven years, in 1999, Slavimir Stojanovic
moved to Ljubljana, Slovenia, landing a job as a Creative Director for Kompas Design. After a year he started working at Arih Agency as
a Creative Director.
Slavimir Stojanovic's work has won more than 200 awards worldwide,
including: Epica, Cresta, Eurobest, Clio, Cannes Advertising
Festival, London Advertising Festival, Golden Drum, Montreux Gold, Art Directors Club, Type Directors Club, Communication Arts Award,
European Design Excellence Award, Global Award,... and many more. His work is a part of collections at Centre Pompidou Paris, Museum of Art
und Reklame Hamburg, Poster Museum in Warszaw and at Museum of Applied Arts in Belgrade. His work has been featured in numerous
books and magazines worldwide, including: Graphis, Communication Arts, Print, Creative Review, Novum, Web Design, CMYK, M-Real, MM,
Inside, Kvadart,...
In 2003 he received Brumen Grand Prix - the best graphic design in Slovenia. In 2004 he received Grifon Award - the best graphic design in Serbia
and Montenegro.
In 2003 Slavimir Stojanovic founded Futro - Creative Service Unit, which offers services to agencies and clients worldwide. Futro is
deeply rooted in experiment and it is separated in two segments: Futro Art and Futro Work, as a 'creative perpetum mobile' where art
and commercial work feed one another with inspiration, it crosses the lines between art, design, fashion, writing and new corporate
culture. Only in this way we strongly believe that things can be pushed further ahead and inspire other people. Projects are showcased
on the web in order to get response from all over the world, to 'listen and hear', and to use that experience in new work.
In October 2005, Futro represented Slovenia at Designersblock exhibition in London, a part of London Design Festival, with a new range of Futro Lights, connecting graphic and industrial design.
In 2006 Futro was chosen among 100 best design studios of the world and Slavimir Stojanovic was chosen among 30 New Masters of Poster
Design for Next Century.
In 2007 Slavimir Stojanovic founded Futro ICB - Design & Branding
Agency, with offices in Belgrade, Serbia and Ljubljana, Slovenia.
